Warrant turns up gun, plastic firearms made with 3D printer


A Stratford man was arrested by police after they found a handgun, ammunition and plastic guns during a search of his home.

On Nov. 21, the Stratford Police Service executed a search warrant on a Stratford residence.

Police stated in a news release that the warrant was related to firearms and weapons.

Police claimed that several items, including ammunition and a handgun, were taken by police. Additionally, police found several plastic firearms as well as plastic parts for firearms that were printed on a 3D printer.

A 23-year old Stratford man was arrested and charged for weapons and firearm offenses.

The accused was taken into custody while awaiting a bail hearing.
