Srinivas Shastry joins Intech Additive Solutions as Director-Sales


Intech Additive Solutions Srinivas Shahtry has been named Director-Sales. Shastry was previously the Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary. SLM Solutions. Intech will oversee international growth with a special focus on Europe and the GCC. 

Shastry managed the sales, operations, as well as the adoption of technology for the regional market during his time with SLM. Shastry was responsible for setting up SLM Solutions’ subsidiary. He also managed the sales, distributors, as well as the technical teams. This resulted in an increase in revenue year over year.

“Srinivas comes with a wealth of experience in the AM industry. His role will be instrumental in expanding our operations overseas while driving all-round innovation and growth in the industry,” said Sridhar Balaram, CEO of Intech. “Our industry is on a growth trajectory with the technology opening new opportunities for applications across diverse industries. We will need experienced leadership at the helm as the company moves into its next phase of global growth.”

Shastry, the new Director-Sales, added: “I’m excited to be a part of Intech’s team as it advances towards becoming the frontrunner in the additive manufacturing space. My goal would be to strengthen and expand its operational footprint. I look forward to working closely with the team alongside our clients as we steer towards meeting a growing end-user demand in the AM market.”

Intech Additive Solutions has launched the second generation iFusion150 metallic 3D printer system. The 500-watt laser is included in the new system. Users have the option of upgrading to a 700W or 1,000W laser and a 150×180 mm build volume.
